Perception of color
In terms of perception of color please note that on a light background of all the colors dark, and to clarify the dark. Depending on the background color become deceptive color (true color given by other colors or shades of other colors). For example, gray object on a green background color is pink.
Primary colors in an environment of high color saturation slightly change color tone. Yellow color on a green background becomes slightly orange, and red surrounded by green - more saturated.
Land contrast
Evenly painted surface appears on the border of lighter or darker, if it borders on the darker or lighter surface. Such a phenomenon in optics is called the land of contrasts.
